We Love Fundraising
The past 6 months have been hard, and I've been so determined in getting the awareness out there, doctors specialist some of them don't even know so getting the fundraising side out of it makes people look in to it more and realise what this disease entails. Fundraising is something I'm passionate about getting out there.
Charity Walks
I completed which I thought would have been a 22 mile walk which ended in a 29 mile walk with my friend, her son and my son and the dogs which raised over £500 this was just the first time doing a charity walk.
Bonus Ball Each Week
My friend and I hold a charity bonus ball every Saturday which is £2 a number and is done by the national lottery bonus ball, the winner takes £59 and the other £59 goes into my just giving page. The support of everybody having a number is amazing and I will keep this going weekly.
Charity Raffles
These are held on events or occasions such as valentine’s day, Easter, etc which many hampers are won and will be going online for the nation to buy.
Charity Nigths
I held a charity night at my local put the blue bell Egremont which went amazing and to my amazement we raised over £2000. I can’t believe the help and support of everybody involved. There will be more to come!!
Auctions
Our first Aution went well but we need to find out more informnation about going Live on Facebook and thye website for the next one. Anybody that can give us some advise on how it would work??.
Events
On the 29th February 2024 the first odd sock day, please wear your craziest socks and donate what is possible to support awareness of HD
I plan on holding many more events in the years to come and I hope everyone gets involved, We are looking at a race night in May 2024, keep donation making suggestions and attending my events. Any messages or information please just send away.
